General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the use of learntap.ai
As of June 2025
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the use of the web-based learning platform learntap.ai, provided by:
learntap.ai UG (limited liability)

(hereinafter referred to as "Provider")
They apply equally to:
Private individuals (e.g., students, parents, guardians),
Educational institutions (e.g. schools, organizations, public institutions) as well as
whose authorized users (e.g. teachers, learners, administrative staff).
2. Description of services
learntap.ai is a digital learning platform that provides interactive learning content and educational tools.
Access is via the internet and is possible through individual or institutional licenses.
Educational institutions can purchase group licenses and provide user accounts for their students and teachers.
3. Use by pupils and minors
Use by minors (especially pupils) is only permitted with the consent of their parents or guardians, or within the framework of a school license issued by the school or the school authority.
In this case, the school is obligated to obtain the consent of the parents/guardians for data processing and use.
The provider reserves the right to request proof of consent from the parents or the responsible institution.
4. Registration and conclusion of contract
Individuals conclude the user agreement by registering on learntap.ai and accepting these terms and conditions.
Schools and educational institutions conclude a separate framework agreement, e.g. in the form of a license agreement, with the provider.
For group or school licenses, the institution assumes responsibility for managing user accounts and complying with data protection regulations.
5. Usage fee and payment terms
Usage is subject to a fee. Prices for individual and school licenses can be obtained by visiting www.learntap.ai -> Products.
Educational institutions can receive customized offers and invoices upon request.
Access may be temporarily blocked in case of payment arrears.
6. Contract duration and termination
Individual subscriptions renew automatically if they are not cancelled in due time.
Educational institutions conclude licenses for fixed terms, with defined notice periods in the contract.
The right to extraordinary termination remains unaffected.
7. Usage rights
Users receive a simple, non-transferable right of use for the duration of the contract.
Distribution, reproduction, or commercial use of the content is prohibited.
Schools are allowed to use content in lessons, but not to distribute it publicly or commercially.
8. Availability and technical requirements
The provider strives for high availability of the platform, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted use.
To use this service, you need an up-to-date browser, an internet-enabled device, and a stable internet connection.
9. Liability
The provider is only liable for damages caused by gross negligence or intent.
No liability is assumed for data loss or system failures outside of our control.
Schools are responsible for the content that their users independently post or submit.
Chat CPT and other AI systems can always be error-prone. We are not liable for the accuracy of the statements.
Be aware of your surroundings while playing! Do not climb on furniture, be careful of other living beings, and watch out for uneven surfaces and obstacles of any kind. We are not liable for personal injury and/or property damage caused by the use of the product or by improper use.
10. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When used by educational institutions, a data processing agreement (DPA) is provided.

11. Final Provisions
Changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated in writing or by email. If the user does not object within 14 days, they will be deemed accepted.
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Heidelberg, to the extent permitted by law.
In the event of a legal dispute, a mediator appointed by learntap.ai must first be called upon.
